Loging into the Corefile control console

In the following example, we log onto the Corefile control console which is also called the “Selling Console”, or just console. The console is where you maintain your inventory, configure store preferences (colours, tax-codes, etc.) and also view and process orders.

The console, requires that your computer be using Flash player 9. If you do not have Flash 9 on your computer, you will be prompted to upgrade the player when you first access the console. Click “yes” and a new player will automatically install in seconds.

Enter your Corefile user ID and password into the login dialog box.

After logging in, you will be presented with a top row of “activity” buttons, and a blank Corefile desktop. For ease of use. Corefile was specially designed to only allow one way to execute most operations. The intuitive interface lets even new and part-time employees use the application, so there is never a dependency on any single “expert user”.
